Zoology 1/25 - 1/29

Objective this week:  To wrap up the fish unit, and reach level of mastery over the shark dissection and the fish classes.  There will be a shark practical on Thursday, and a written exam over the fish classes & Kansas fish on Friday to demonstrate mastery over this content.

Objective this week:  To reach the level of mastery over the CNS divisions, as well as overall brain anatomy.  We will also introduce the peripheral nervous system and take a quiz at the end of the week over the system.

Objective this week:  To complete a project over atomic structure by building your own atom out of random items provided in the classroom.  This activity will help hands-on learners as well as visual learners.

Objective this week:  To understand and discuss random punnett square variations - blood typing, incomplete dominance, and sex-linked genes.  There will be a test on Friday over punnett squares to assess final comprehension of genetics.
