7th Grade Life Science 12/12 - 12/16

Objective this week:  To understand development of living things through the investigation of the fossil record, assuming that natural processes function today the same way they did in the past.

Monday
Finish discussion of the fossil record.  Discuss fossil formation.  Give out worksheet over the fossils in rock layers.  Talk about the law of superposition.

Tuesday
Class presentation project - students will work together in groups to create a class presentation over eras, periods, epochs, and law of superposition.

Wednesday
Present projects to class.

Thursday
Review for Monday's test over fossil layers

Objective this week:  To reach the level of mastery over Kansas fish identification and to review for next week's final exam.

Monday - Wednesday
Kansas fish identification & anatomy.  Instruction will be given through a multimedia presentation with pictures and facts.

Thursday & Friday
Review for final exam; discuss major points of study for the final

Zoology 12/12 - 12/16

Objective this week: To review for the fall final exams through interviews, question/answer sessions, and group work.  There will be a practical final on Friday of this week and then the written final will be next week.
