Objective this week:  To understand with mastery the process of endochondral ossification.  There will be a quiz over this at the end of the week.  We will also introduce the topic of bone fracture repair.  Tuesday and Thursday lab will consist of bone identification.

Bone fracture repair and remodeling; discuss all parts of the process.   Design a graphic organizer over this process for points.

Tuesday
Lab - bones of the skull.

Wednesday
Model building - build a fracture model, including the major steps of fracture repair. This will be due Friday.

Objective this week:  To compare animal vs plant reproduction and complete an STEM activity over plant reproduction with 100% of the students mastering this activity.

Finish mitosis mobiles.  Review sexual reproduction in animal species.  Also review sexual vs asexual reproduction and complete a worksheet/vocab review over this material.

Objective this week:  To understand the form and function of the spider anatomy, and complete a quiz over arachnid body plan.  We will also begin discussing the crustaceans this week.

Spider anatomy and physiology - discuss parts of a spider and how they contribute to a successful life as a spider.

Finish discussing arachnids; Begin discussing crustaceans; anatomy & physiology of crustaceans and assignment over them.

Objective this week:  Analyze results of a STEM project and also be able to explain differences between conduction, convection, and radiation.   There will be a quiz on Friday over these topics with a 100/75 performance objective.
