7th Grade Science .... here's what you missed today....
If you missed 7th grade science today, we started a cell project. It's an individual project and it's worth 55 points. We will begin building this on Wednesday, so be sure to bring materials by then. You don't need to buy anything, just bring materials from home.

I don't have a "daily" lesson plan for this class this week, because much of it is driven with the weather and student comprehension; by the end of the week students must be able to identify Big & Little Bluestem, Switch Grass, Sideoats Grama, and Ragweed for a quiz on Friday.
One of the major assignments this week will be to create a multimedia study guide for the plant & grass species listed above.

Objective this week: To complete water quality testing in several different aquatic environments around the local community.

This week will involve water quality testing in several locations. Samples will be taken and brought back to the classroom. Those samples will then be tested using Vernier data analysis software. I don't have a particular subject for each day of the week for this weeks' lesson planning, as it depends on the time needed to test the samples with the Vernier probes, the weather, etc. I will update this set of plans as the week progresses.
